Uniqlo UT–Mr. Andre, Futura, KAWS

While working with EMEHT, a boutique creative agency based in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, my role focused on translating the artists’ work into marketing materials to support the campaign rollout. I was responsible for packaging the artwork into a variety of formats—developing assets for print, film, social media, and in-store displays.

This included everything from animated content and motion graphics to large-scale environmental graphics and promotional collateral, ensuring each piece stayed true to the artist’s voice while aligning with the broader campaign strategy. The goal was to create a unified visual language that could flex across platforms and engage audiences both digitally and in the physical retail space.

Mr. Andre

Also known as André Saraiva, is known for his playful, graffiti-inspired style that blends street art with romantic themes. His signature character, “Mr. A”—a stick figure with a round head, a top hat, and a wink—appears throughout his work, often accompanied by handwritten love notes or cheeky messages. His aesthetic is colorful, charming, and instantly recognizable, bringing a lighthearted, Parisian flair tothe world of graffiti.

Futura

Also known as Futura 2000, is a pioneering figure in abstract street art, known for his dynamic, gestural style that blends graffiti with fine art sensibilities. His work is characterized by bold linework, atmospheric gradients, and a sense of controlled chaos—often resembling abstract expressionist painting more than traditional graffiti. He frequently incorporates cosmic themes, atom-like structures, and his iconic “Pointman” character.

KAWS

Also known as Brian Donnelly, has a distinctive style that fuses pop art, street culture, and commercial design. His work often features reimagined cartoon characters—like Mickey Mouse, Snoopy, or The Simpsons—with his signature “XX” eyes and skull-and-crossbones heads. KAWS’s aesthetic is bold, clean, and graphic, with flat colors, sharp lines, and a polished, almost toy-like finish. He blurs the line between high and low art, creating everything from large-scale sculptures and paintings to collectible vinyl figures and fashion collaborations.
